- 250 grFilet Mignon Steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, if desired
- 2 tbsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp fresh ground pepper
Step 1 : Preheat gas grill to 250 or prepare a charcoal grill.
Step 2 : Season the steaks liberally with kosher salt and black pepper on both sides.
Step 3 : Add the steaks to the grill and close the lid. Cook until a crust has formed and golden brown, approximately 4-5 minutes.
Step 4 : Flip the steaks and close the lid. Continue grilling for an additional 4-5 minute or until the desired degree of doneness. 125 degrees for medium rare.
Step 5 : Transfer the steaks to a platter and cover with foil.
Step 6 : Allow the steaks to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
