Cream cheese is a fresh, or unripened, product made from cow’s milk. This is the Americanized variety, with similar versions marketed in Germany (Rahmfrishkase), Italy (mascarpone), and Austria (quark). A full-fat cream cheese contains 33% milkfat, which makes it a wonderfully smooth ingredient in cheesecake or when slathered on a bagel, crispy cracker, or celery stalk.
Our cream cheers comes in a hard block and needs to be mixed with sour cream or cream to use it for the cheese cakes. The block can easily be frozen und cut while frozen so its an excellent solution also for hot and humid areas as it can stay in the deep freezer until the day of use.
